The probe agency had conducted searches on Wednesday in Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, among other places, during which Rs 93 lakh cash was recovered from the Gurugram premises of Jha, who is currently posted in Itanagar.
Jha was allegedly extending favours to Tata Projects in various projects in return of illicit payment, the agency said.
Meanwhile, state-owned Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd on Saturday reported nearly 18 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 4,156.44 crore for the March 2022 quarter. The company’s consolidated net profit stood at Rs 3,526.23 crore in the year-ago period, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) informed in an exchange filing.
