Skowhegan man pleads guilty to bank fraud

BANGOR — A Skowhegan man charged with lying to obtain a business loan from the Paycheck Protection Program entered a guilty plea in Federal Court in Bangor Tuesday.

Nathan Reardon pleaded guilty to five counts of bank fraud.

The indictment states Reardon allegedly submitted fraudulent applications for PPP loans and direct loans from the Small Business Administration.

The justice department says he also provided false information on the applications.
