Punjab ACE summons Islamabad IG over corruption charges
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment summoned Islamabad Inspector General of Police Dr Akbar Nasir Khan on corruption charges, while working as Chief Operating Officer in Punjab Safe City Authority.
Sources privy to the matter on Friday said that Akbar Nasir Khan is accused of corruption in the construction work of the second floor of Punjab Safe City Authority. Punjab ACE is inquiring about allegations of corruption in various projects on Akbar Nasir Khan.
IG Islamabad was summoned to the office of Director Vigilance Headquarters on October 11 at 10:00 am.
It merits mention here that Akbar Nasir Khan has worked as Chief Operating Officer Punjab Safe City Authority Lahore.
