The House panel investigating the Capitol insurrection is hearing testimony from Cassidy Hutchinson, a top aide in Donald Trump’s White House who told the committee earlier in a private interview that she saw documents burned. Hutchinson, a special assistant and aide to former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows, told the panel earlier that she witnessed Meadows burn documents after a meeting in his office with Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., one of several GOP congressmen who were involved in White House efforts to subvert the 2020 election results.
