The Special Investigating Unit has obtained a preservation order to freeze a luxury property belonging to Vhuthanda Investment, a private company whose sole director is Professor Alfred Nevhutanda. The SIU says Vhutanda Investment purchased the property for approximately R27 million in 2018, allegedly with money from the National Lotteries Commission. It says at the time of the purchase Nevhuthanda was both the director of Vhutanda Investment and the chairperson of the NLC board. Kaizer Kganyago joins me now.
